A Message from GSCO

We are pleased to introduce Lisa Contreras, the new Director of Membership and Development, who joined us November 16, 2020. Lisa brings an extensive background in marketing and communications and will lead our membership recruitment efforts. Her expertise is in content writing, lead development and project management.

She has worked for Wal-Mart corporate, Meetings Professional International, American Heart Association, and Baylor College of Medicine. These experiences have given Lisa a wide array of skills she will employ to enhance GSCO’s membership experience and attract new members to our great organization. She holds two Bachelors’ in English and Political Science, from the University of Charleston and a Master’s in English with an emphasis in rhetoric and linguistics, from Marshall University.

Lisa comes from a hunting family in West Virginia where they only ate what they hunted or fished. If it moved, then she has tried it!

“We are thrilled to have Lisa transition into this role as Director of Membership and Development,” said Mark Hampton, Executive Director of GSCO. “Lisa’s background and experience will significantly benefit our membership recruitment and retention efforts, and will help develop new, exciting pathways to showcase our mission.”
