Al’s Goldfish Lure Company, designer and American-made manufacturer of the classic Goldfish lure and other innovative fishing lures and accessories, will be featured on the January 27 episode of the Lure Love Podcast. Lure Love is the only fishing podcast solely focused on artificial lures and covers both vintage lure history as well as modern lure innovations.
“When we learned that Al’s Goldfish Lure Company was celebrating its 70th anniversary, we knew we had to feature them on the podcast,” said Tim “Tackle Box” Bete, co-host along with John “Crappie Hippie” King and Lucy the Lure-matic Computer. The Goldfish lures are still made of solid marine brass, are plated by a jewelry-plater and individually hand-painted. All the gold lures are still plated in 22 karat gold, which makes them extremely shiny.
