Bear OPS Brings Titanium Balisongs & Automatics to 2019 Blade Show

Booth #4

Jacksonville, Alabama – Bear OPS, the tactical brand of Bear & Son Cutlery specializing in military and law enforcement knives, will bring their impressive new lineup of automatic knives to this year’s Blade Show —Booth 4 at the Cobb Galleria in Atlanta, GA. Stop by the Bear OPS booth June 7-9, 2019 to learn more about their tactical, lightweight and fast-action knives.

Bear OPS knives are designed for comfortable all-day carry and most importantly, reliable performance.  Each knife is made in the US with expert craftsmanship and forged from quality materials such as Sandvik, Damascus and High Carbon Steel, with attention to detail throughout each step of the knife making process. Stop by booth 4 and try the Bold Action® series, a smooth operating automatic tactical knife that deploys a Sandvik blade, features a green and black G10 handle, an ergonomic safety slide and an ambidextrous pocket clip.

New for 2019, Bear OPS  adds another premium knife to its balisong series with the 5-inch Bear Song VII Butterfly. The heart of the Bear Song VII is its 154CM stainless steel blade. Developed for high-grade knife applications, 154CM blends molybdenum with chromium and carbon to deliver one of the hardest blade materials that stays sharp longer and is highly corrosion-resistant. Supporting the Bear Song VII’s robust blade are strong titanium handles, with strategically-machined coring to provide both exceptional grip, reduced weight, and a unique styling flair. The titanium is treated to a stonewash finish to give the knife character and to deliver visual contrast to the handle’s design. Finally, to ensure smooth operation and long-term performance, the Bear Song VII utilizes premium ball bearing washers to support the blade.

Also new for 2019, Blade Show guests will want to see the Carbon Fiber Incognito™ Automatic. Designed by Steve Jernigan, this slim, lightweight knife minimizes imprinting without jeopardizing functionality. It’s a modern knife that sets new standards for the professional workplace market with unique features such as a super-smooth, fast-action Sandvik blade that provides dependable, top-of-the-line operation. With a simple push of the recessed button, the 2 1/2” blade deploys on demand, firmly locking back and can withstand heavy loads.

Guest will want to also look at the Bear OPS new double-edge boot knife while visiting the booth. This American-made, tactical knife features black textured G10 handles and a hard-hitting 1095 carbon-steel blade with a full-body tang. The 3 ¼” double-edge blade is easy to maintain thanks to its durable cutting edge, boasts solid tip retention and can handle the most difficult tasks.  A black epoxy powder coat finish is added to resist rust and to minimize unwanted glare.
