Compact bag compatible with standard-sized milk crates
HOUSTON (June 26, 2018) – YakGear offers versatility for kayak and boat anglers with the Cratewell. The compactable bag transforms a standard-sized milk crate, such as the YakGear Angler Crate, into the perfect dry storage solution and also doubles as a livewell for holding bait with the addition of an optional aerator. With limited space on kayaks, boats and canoes, the Cratewell allow anglers to upgrade their existing milk crates while maximizing limited deck space.
No matter the watercraft, limited space is always an issue,” said YakGear President Bill Bragman. “We developed a product to keep important things safe and dry along with the ability to use it as a livewell without taking up additional deck space, which is always a premium.”
Constructed of heavy-duty 5,000 D PVC Tarpaulin for light weight and strength, the durable bag features Velcro top access and a large waterproof, three-sided zipper. The rounded corners help circulate oxygen efficiently and keep swimming bait alive longer. With two different ports, anglers can use two aerators to keep the largest of baits alive. The Cratewell also comes with protective caps to cover exposed screws. Weighing less than one pound, the Cratewell compresses down flat for convenient storage.
“Whether holding larger baits for offshore action or protecting your valuables, the Cratewell is perfect for just about any angler,” said Bragman. “The flexibility to switch between dry storage and a livewell sets it apart from others in the market.”
