ACCOKEEK, Md. (January 24, 2019) – The National Rifle Association’s (NRA) American Hunter has awarded the Franchi Affinity 3.5 with the Golden Bullseye Award for 2018 Shotgun of the Year. Given to new products that display overall excellence, quality and innovation, the Golden Bullseye Award recognizes the Affinity 3.5 for it’s excellent reliability and function in the field.
“We are proud of being recognized by the NRA and its writers, editors and staff and acknowledged for our efforts to make the best shotguns possible,” said Timothy Joseph, VP of Marketing. “We strive to honor Franchi’s long tradition of fine craftsmanship while introducing new and innovative designs such as the Franchi Affinity 3.5.”
This marks the 17th year the NRA Publications have recognized outstanding products with the Golden Bullseye Awards. After months of testing and evaluation, a seven-person committee, consisting of editors, graphic designers and veteran NRA Publications staff, presents awards to those products and companies that have exceeded the evaluator’s expectations and are innovative in design and function.
The Golden Bullseye Awards will be presented during a special breakfast during the 2019 NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Franchi Affinity 3.5 will be featured in an overview of the awards and will appear in the May issue of American Hunter.
