EDGEFIELD, S.C. — Hunters and conservationists rejoice. The National Wild Turkey Federation’s recent launch of its new online video streaming platform, NWTF TV, provides 24/7/365 access to quality turkey hunting and conservation content on computers, smart TVs and smartphones.
“We are proud to debut NWTF TV,” NWTF CEO Becky Humphries said. ”We know it will help us reach new audiences through exciting digital shorts and videos sharing our mission to conserve the wild turkey and preserve our hunting heritage.”
Users can now browse NWTF TV’s video channels covering a variety of content, including NWTF original productions, such as “Turkey Call TV”; short films; cooking segments; hunting tips and tactics; conservation efforts; and more. Make sure to visit often, as the site will feature newly added content each week.
“Making a shift from cable TV to an online streaming platform allows us to efficiently push new, relevant content quickly and regularly to reach audiences who now consume the majority of their outdoor entertainment through digital formats,” said Matt Lindler, NWTF VP of Communications.
About the National Wild Turkey Federation
When the National Wild Turkey Federation was founded in 1973, there were about 1.3 million wild turkeys in North America. After decades of work, that number hit a historic high of almost 7 million turkeys. To succeed, the NWTF stood behind science-based conservation and hunters’ rights. The NWTF Save the Habitat. Save the Hunt. initiative is a charge that mobilizes science, fundraising and devoted volunteers to raise $1.2 billion to conserve and enhance more than 4 million acres of essential wildlife habitat, recruit at least 1.5 million hunters and open access to 500,000 acres for hunting.
