DENVER (August 9, 2018) – Independent television networks Outdoor Channel and Sportsman Channel don’t often find themselves compared in viewership statistics with the likes of NBC Sports Network, Fox, NatGeo, ESPN, NFL Network, MLB Network, NBATV, History or Golf Channel, to name a few more highly-distributed networks.
In the recent Nielsen Marketplace 3Q18* viewers per viewing household (VPVH) report measuring the key demographic Men 25-54, Outdoor Channel and Sportsman Channel rank among the Top 20 competitive networks in all basic cable. Outdoor Channel ranks 15th in M25-54 VPVH, up 18 positions from last year, and Sportsman Channel ranks 18th on the list, up 47 positions from last year’s ranking in the same metric.
