R3 Partners Team Up to Offer Insights on Engaging New Customers in Archery Industry

Washington, D.C. – Public participation rates in the archery and bowhunting industries are changing and this shift presents some unique challenges and opportunities for the archery industry in the coming years. Potential customers are interested in these traditional activities – if they are able to experience it in their own way. This is the message that the archery industry’s conservation partners have joined together to bring to the members of ATA at the 2019 Trade Show.

The Council to Advance Hunting and the Shooting Sports, the Quality Deer Management AssociationGeorgia Wildlife Federation, and the Archery Trade Association are teaming up to present an informative seminar on this topic at the 2019 Archery Trade Association Trade Show. The seminar, titled “Field to Fork to Market: Recruiting New Customers into the Hunting Industry”, will occur on Friday, January 11 at 7:15 a.m. in Room C-109.

This seminar will profile a program called “Field to Fork” as an example of an effort to help people become new hunters. It will offer insights on how manufacturers, range owners, retailers, and other industry professionals can adapt their initiatives to also encourage new and former participants to become active hunters. The seminar will highlight other insights on the changing market and provide more information for industry professionals looking to take an active role in the development of new customers for the future of the hunting industry.
