SAFARI CLUB INTERNATIONAL WELCOMES BARNETT AS NATIONAL SPONSOR
Safari Club International, the leader in protecting the freedom to hunt and in promoting wildlife conservation worldwide, is excited to announce Barnett as a national sponsor for the crossbow category. Through this partnership Barnett will help celebrate hunters at the annual SCI Convention in February 2020 and support the mission of SCI.
As the world’s leading manufacturer of crossbows for 60 years, Barnett is introducing new hunters, gun hunters and experienced archers to the traditions of crossbows while expanding their capability through technological innovations. “SCI Members are enthusiastic about challenging themselves in the outdoors and when considering their first or next crossbow, Barnett and their category-leading bows are at the top of the list”, said Chip Hunnicutt, Director of Marketing and Communications for SCI. “Barnett’s extensive history as a pioneer in the outdoor industry coupled with SCI’s 50 years of promoting hunting and its role in conservation makes this a natural fit.”
The partnership includes Barnett as the title sponsor of the crossbow category during SCI’s prestigious “Night of the Hunter” Awards Presentation at the 2020 convention in Reno, Nevada, on February 6. The evening event is typically sold out well in advance as part of the 4-day SCI Convention, February 5-8. Attendees should book their tickets now at scishow.org.
“Through its Washington, DC-based government affairs team, an all-species focus, and national convention, SCI is unique in its ability to defend and support hunting and we are proud to support this effort”, said Pete Angle, VP Marketing, Plano Synergy.
