Team Easton sews up major categories at USA World Field Team Trials

DARRINGTON, Washington – The World Archery Field Championships – U.S. Team Trials wrapped today in a fast-paced race to the finish before the rain turned to a downpour. After three days of competition, Team USA has put together a strong team to send to Cortina, Italy this September for the World Archery Field Championship.

Reigning individual world field champions Brady Ellison and Steve Anderson won the trials outright in the recurve and compound men’s divisions, respectively. Ellison will be joined in Italy by Nathan Yamaguchi and Matt Requa, who are fellow resident athletes at the Easton Archery Center for Excellence in Chula Vista.

Easton shooter Heather Koehl won the recurve women’s division outright too. Team Easton shooter Crystal Gauvin, who competed in Dublin 2016 with a compound, now joins Koehl on the recurve team for the Cortina World event.
