VIRIDIAN® PARTNERS WITH TAURUS ON A SHOT SHOW EXCLUSIVE: TAURUS® MODEL 856 WITH RED GRIP LASER

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – January 17, 2019 – Viridian Weapon Technologies has unveiled a new red grip laser that is designed specifically for the Taurus Model 856 and will be offered in a special laser/revolver package at the 2019 SHOT Show in Las Vegas, NV.

Viridian’s grip laser boasts a simple yet intuitive design and activates automatically when the user grips the handgun. Delivering rapid target acquisition when it’s needed most, this grip laser features a highly visible red laser.  Like all Viridian laser sights, the grip lasers include an industry-best seven-year limited warranty.

The Taurus 856 is a six-shot revolver chambered in 38 Special. It sports a two-inch barrel and has a double-single action. When combined with the Viridian grip laser, the Taurus 856 is even more effective as a personal defense weapon. The intuitive laser sights allow for quick target acquisition under duress. This revolver/laser combo will also be available for purchase at ShopTaurus.com.

“The opportunity to partner with Taurus by designing a customized grip laser for its iconic model 856 is great for our company,” said Viridian President and CEO, Brian Hedeen. “Viridian has always been proud to have a long-lasting relationship with Taurus. With several future collaborative projects already in the works, we’re continuing to build upon this strong partnership and to ensure that our customers have a lot to look forward to.”
